PRODUCTIEHUIS Spinbarg presents:

Can you love a seamonster?

After a long journey, De Kraak has landed at the WEC, the Wadden Sea World Heritage Centre in Lauwersoog. Two shell shapes from the performance have been given a place in the permanent exhibition there. The shells contain a compilation of films based on old stories from the Wadden Sea region. The films – sometimes moving, often funny or exciting – show how people have always tried to live with the turbulent nature of the sea. How this often ends in failure, but also how much beauty can come out of it.

From 2022 onwards, De Kraak was on display at the Landesmuseum Natur und Mensch Oldenburg (Germany), Ecomare Texel, the Natuurschuur on Terschelling and the Pieterburen Seal Centre, among other places.
